I dunno, I think his cover of Pixies' "Cactus" from Heathen is pretty good. His cover of Modern Lovers' "Pablo Picasso" from Reality on the other hand :barf:

Overall, though, you're right. He was brilliant but just not much good at doing covers for whatever reason.
