The 1900s was a good century. We were all (probably) born in it, and in the 90s we had a wide, eclectic, and exciting musical environment that acted as the swan song for our century of birth. To celebrate a decade of music (and Asiina's hatred of that decade), we're going to spend the next several days calling each other idiots in an Internet party game.

This is a 13 14 15-player mafia game, with very nontraditional roles. If you want to play, please post below. Some folks are pre-signed from the discussion thread. Once you've posted in the thread here, PM me what 90s song you will be playing as this game (including a youtube video link to them because I"m an uncultured hick who won't know what you're talking about). That song will determine what powers you have in the game. Even if you told me a song in the discussion thread, send me a PM or I'll forget which song you have and have to hunt the post down and I'm likely to give you a really poo poo power as retribution.

The thread will mostly follow standard mafia rules:

All day phases will last for 2 days and all night phases will last for 1 day. Night phase will last at least 12 hours. If I'm not here, deadlines are floating.
Lynches will require a majority vote.
No out-of-thread communication, except for that allowed by role PMs.
Don't edit your posts.
No quoting mod PMs.
No fake day actions, truth or dare, Toxxing, or other things that go against the spirit of mafia.
The thread will be open at night. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves or not as you see fit.
Please don't lurk. I will modkill lurkers after one warning. You have been warned.

Special CYOS rules:

It is possible for two players to select the same song.
There will be special Music Trivia Day Events.
Revealing your song may be a very bad thing! You have been warned.
The Day One Music Contest is open to everyone, even non-players! If someone outside the game wins the contest, they get to join the game immediately. I'll take their song and randomly assign them their alignment. This is D1 only!

Allen Wren wins the D1 Mixtape challenge, and enters the game as a player!
D1 ends with no deaths at all.
busb is targeted by an action, and is revealed as the secret player.
No one died N1!
Thread tried to lynch CPig D2. It didn't take.
I introduced country music to the thread. Talks of rebellion spread.
N2 never happened. Like, at all.
Rurea reset the game in D3. Talks of the game never ending surface.
Ecco invades, is repulsed.
Rarity - Oasis - Live Forever - Town Aligned did a really stupid thing and died.
It was so stupid, it killed AnonymousNarcotics - Sisqo - Thong Song - Town Aligned as well.
Pinterest Mom - Mandy Moore - Candy - Town-Aligned gave up on the game, and was modkilled.
Depression set in.
Tremendous Taste - Das EFX - They Want EFX - Town-Aligned was lynched on D3. Some called him town. Some called him a liar. They were all right.
poo poo got crazy. Like, Turbo crazy.

That's cool. Earliest this starts is tomorrow because I have to develop the powers after all submissions are in and at least pretend like I'm trying to balance them out.

Song Update: I have songs from ten of you, KB's unable while at work which is no problem. Nine of these songs are great, one is seriously, unconditionally, and purposefully awful and it is, in it's own way, awesome for it.

If you need to switch, until I send out role PMs you can; a few of you already have, mostly to get a different version of the same song.
