look on the positive, since you're a cool pc gamer that means you probably use Steam which means re-installing your games on a shiny new PC will be quick + easy, plus many of your save games will probably be cloud-backed too. tough times, but good time to be a pc gamer, keep on keepin on

oh my god OP, impdolences since you have a laptop might i suggest mount and blade warband it can pretty much run on a toaster and also owns and there are a lot of mods (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

I've had hyper threading off for a while on my old i7. Doesn't do poo poo. Also not really worth upgrading your CPU. Get and ssd if you haven't already and a new video card maybe

Pulled my head out of my rear end and realized my BIOS was defaulting to a stupid voltage for whatever reason when I left it on auto, manually set it and we're stable again. Kinda a shame cause I was getting a little excited about getting a pentium g3258 and OCing the poo poo out of it.

You say that but the only anime game I've played on it was Persona 4 Gold and I got kinda sick of that before finishing it. I've mostly been using my Vita in quick little spurts and it's been perfect at that. Anyway, update on broke PC: graphics card's at the shop, I'm looking at deals on a new PSU, saw a few 80 plus bronzes but the cheapest I've found is 80 plus silver, think I'll go for that one. Wish me luck, imps!
