I was browsing this morning and I got an add for a touch screen monitor. It occurred to me that it might be good for doing art on my PC, and at the same time be larger and cheaper than a dedicated tablet. I'd this an option? If so, than I'm going to thank Google for the cool ads

(actually ended up buying this. Hope it's a good 'un https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075WSRLC6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1+ The Dregs fucked around with this message at 19:58 on Aug 27, 2018 |

Wowporn posted:Oh, when you just said touch screen monitor I thought you meant like literally one of those cheap like hp touchscreen things you'd buy at best buy, not an actual drawing tablet monitor. I know the xppen one has had pretty good reviews from professional artists, I've never heard of the company that made that other one but if it's just a cheap rebrand of the xppen It Will Probably Be Ok, especially if it's the Amazon's choice thing. However, not sure if it's actually important to you, but those ones aren't touch screen at all, they are stylus only. Yeah I got the idea for them from the touchscreen monitor. I searched for "Drawing Monitor" and found these. I didn't realize they existed. I had a pad before, but I could neer get the hang of not looking at my hands as I drew.
