Maybe I've just been around too many semi-autists, but she definitely came off as being a different flavor of autistic to me. While kinda similar to Peter Gregory, she was hailing from a different part of the spectrum.

My thoughts exactly. Other than "being weird", the only thing the two characters had in common was their inability to maintain eye contact with people they were not comfortable with. I went into the episode with the lowest expectations from that character, but I ended up really liking her.

I enjoyed Outrageous VC Guy, but I hope he doesn't take up too much time from the rest of the season, except to interact with Laurie.

Oh God, that look on Dinesh' face at the end :smith:

Also, I think that the joke with Zoltbase and Ectopoint is just the weirdness if seeing names of obvious porn fetish sites next to Internet Company No. 8320 Inc.

(but let's not turn this into the new microwave argument)

Richard calling Russ out for being an rear end in a top hat made me ignore all the inaccuracies of the whole delete key thing. It was terribly inaccurate on every level, but technical accuracy, even if the show is really good at it, is not the reason I keep watching. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it puts a lid on PP working with a porn mega-corp plot, which could have been mined a bit more.

Seriously, why aren't more people talking about Richard growing an enormous pair for once? It's much more interesting than intricacies of FTP.

I see people in this thread making reasonable and thought-out business plans for PP, and I wonder if we are watching the same show. The constant roller-coaster is a huge part of what keeps me latched on the show, but maybe we came in with different expectations? I never cared about watching PP expand and evolve as a company, I see it only as a context for the interaction between the characters. You could still have that of course if they had moved to that huge office, or if no one sued them and got huge sacks of VC dollars, but I don't see how it would make the show any better. I think I just like Ehrlich's incubator as a setting too much to give up.
