Creature posted:For a few years they had some kind of 'Idol'-like show where the public voted. That didn't work so they sent Engelbert Humperdinck and Bonnie Tyler. Now I think they just pick names out of a hat and hope for the best. I thought countries tried really really hard not to win, unless they're a tryhard eastern european country. The Eurovision is always a financial disaster for the host country and it leaves a huge expensive arena that will be unused for years.
