All the little expressions Geralt makes during dialogue are hilarious, like some guard is ranting about how horribly mutilated some corpse is, and Geralt's just kinda doing a little eyeroll to himself. Dude gives no fucks at all :allears:

Are there any decent weather mods people would recommend? Specifically I'd like longer transitions between phases(not sure if thats the word I'm after), so storms won't just cut straight to blue sky and sunshine, etc.

The idea is you have two bombs ready for throwing and the rest of them are in your inventory and you can't access them mid-combat. Having ALL of your bombs would be OP as gently caress.

You totally can go into the inventory and swap them though, unless that's disabled in higher difficulties.

Differently able Nilfs

“Here – your frying pan. Let me just reach into my rear end offscreen to get it.”

Witcher 2 had a good correlation between what an item was worth, and how good it was. If something was more expensive than something else, it was probably worth the tradeup. Is that still the case? Some cheaper items actually look better (Dorian steel sword and the Witcher steel sword in particular)

I’d give a lot for an upgrade that allowed you to loot as you ride.

Ahaha, mounting Roach as he stands on the edge of deep water you’re swimming in. Amazing animation.

Next to the Ransacked village, there’s are a bunch of drowners on the beach. If you jump down to fight them, and follow the beach line ahead, you’ll find that some genius designed the shore line so that you’re blocked off from climbing up it. You’ll have a fruitful expedition to the edge of the map, and then will be forced to backtrack back to the drowner spawn. Fuuuuuuuuun.

“Gotta jump down the well. Hope I don’t break my legs”. Jumping from where Geralt starts drops you on solid ground and kills you.

Do runes that improve sign intensity stack when they’re on different swords, or do they just apply to each sword individually?

Is there a way to sell all your junk / looted weapons at once?

Ok, I seriously have no idea what to do with the Abandoned Shrine next to the Noonwraith village. Killed a bunch of ghouls next to it, but the game won’t register that as clearing the danger around the shrine.

Yeeesh, dude, try not to have too much fun there...

You could enable enemy scaling from the main menu, although it's a little bit janky and doesn't always work all that well. For instance there's an area where you have to kill a swarm of level 2 rats, except if you've got level scaling on it becomes a swarm of e.g. level 19 rats and it's basically impossible until you go to the menu and turn the scaling off again.

The most glaring example I saw of this is the Djinn will be basically invincible and all it's attacks 1 shot you with level scaling enabled.

I just met a cool new friend on Skellige, then we got in a bar fight with some punk kids and he got killed :( RIP Jorund, you died like a fool top bloke

Aaaaaaand I just met the infamous Cat School Witcher. I was pretty sure I was gonna kill him, but in the end I let him go. Could easily have gone the other way, but I kinda felt like (my friend)Geralt wouldn't kill another Witcher unless he reaaaaally didn't have another choice. I mean there's not that many left, right? Like objectively he deserved it for what he did, but after talking to him it just seemed way too cold-blooded to just execute the guy. I felt like a Witcher would get a leniency that probably no-one else would. Anyway Geralt can't be all "righteous fury" JUDGE GERALT all the time. So, Witcher got a one-time bro pass, and I get left wondering if I made the wrong choice, which to me is half the fun of this game anyway.

Oh and I gave the kid and her aunt some coin to show her #NOTALLWITCHERS :smith:

I liked Gaetan because it made you think about the morality of the situation on several levels. The basic level of what's right or wrong, the context of the setting and what being a witcher means, and the context of your own actions within gameplay.
