I love that hair tessellation is this games ubersampling from w2. Won't be feasible for most people until new hardware comes out in a couple years because of how intensive it is. #notmydowngrade

Ugh, 1.10 has a slew of new quest bugs. Wolf armour quest is bugged, guess I can just go back to it later. CDProjekt has been pretty good about fixing the quest bugs so far, though.

The Igni armour reduction is really good with fast attacks and whirl, so just one slot to add a lot of power to it and give you some stamina regen for signs and whirl.

Hieronymous Alloy posted:I've hit the end of Chapter 1 in Witcher 2 and now I have an odd urge to camp the nekker / malena cave for mutagens , save, do roche's path, come back later and do Iorveth's path. Good idea / bad idea? Mutagens aren't that important, you can do whatever caters to your playstyle and not really worry if you are making a poor decision. Effects are cool with sign builds. All three trees are good in Witcher 2, but I believe many people have said that while having the sword tree as your main point dump is effective it isn't as fun in a general sense. And yes, definitely have a save before the decision leaps into chapter 2, in case you want to do a second play through (you want to do a second play through). EDIT: The save is nice, but some people do like to start from the beginning since the prologue has some decisions in it as well. Voxx fucked around with this message at 21:25 on Dec 5, 2015 |

WoodrowSkillson posted:Are the other schools supposed to be in shambles as well or is it just the viper and wolf schools that are a mess? No one seems to be overly surprised at geralt showing up to do a contract There are no more witcher schools. However, of the witchers that still live, almost all of them walk the path and take contracts.

They placed the whole thing on her, and she was exiled the same day. She was (and is) a troubled child, full of false memories and hatred for those who betrayed her. Who even knows if the knights even mistreated her when she was kicked out.

Does my boy Iorveth ever show up? Saskia? Working with Vernon Roche over and over is making me feel a little awkward. Also is this "Dijkstra" fellow from the Roche side of things? There's a clear history here, and I don't remember him at all. Iorveth and Saskia were cut, there is no content with them outside from half mentions. Dijkstra is from the books, his journal entry should tell you what you need to know.
