A dog begins eating a dusty old coil of rope but there's a nail in it.

7k words by the 30th.

Ante upped from last month. Spread across various projects, since my tempo seems best when I hop around a bit.

 June Halfway Checkin:

625 words from a small joke story thing for a friend's birthday.
3,110 words of a Thunderdome being rewritten from the ground up for sending out for submissions.

3,735 total. Still need to edit the Thunderdome thing back down a bit though, mainly for pacing reasons.

+1.4k for a smaller story, +3.5k more to the Heap of Novel I need to clean up.


That puts me at ~9k words for the month. Not very hard to get a thousand jammed out in a serious hour long session, but finding time to do that consistently has been annoying.

I think next month I'll focus on editing short stories for submissions. Enough of this not getting paid to be brilliant poo poo
