Well the idea of moving the service threads to just stay open was a result of decreased traffic and posting. Since the drunk and civ threads were easily our most active, I thought they should be periodically rebooted to keep them from getting overly-massive, but I guess that doesn't really matter. My philosophy is that I try to make this a place for you all rather than some petty kingdom for me to control so I'm open to ideas/change. So toss out a vote: http://strawpoll.me/4516519 Edit: I will say I'm leaning towards bringing back the drunk thread since I miss being able to browse the civ thread without worrying what's going to pop up on the screen.

Annual threads make it easier for me to search through old posts/GiP archives to steal the contents for my GiP webisode series. Hypothetically, I mean. A vote for annual condensed thread is a vote for the next big thing in internet entertainment (I call it internetainment) edit: separate annual threads are cool if the wage-slaves need something safe to read in the cotton fields of consumerism.
