Netflix has a bunch of really good pretty dark '70s conspiracy/spy movies if that's your thing. The Conversation (which is arguably one of the finest movies of the '70s, lost out on Best Picture to Godfather Part II...meaning Francis Ford Coppola lost to himself), also Three Days of the Condor, The French Connection (Gene Hackman as a hard-bitten NYC narcotics cop), and Serpico. Also Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, which is in that vein...it's pretty long and convoluted but man is it good. lol did this change recently? Because if so my girlfriend may have indirectly had something to do with that...long story short she was on a SWA flight from Vegas to Atlanta a couple months back and wound up sitting next to this insanely fat bitch, fat to the point that she literally could not lower the arm rest. Winds up spending most of the flight standing in the galley with the flight attendants because this lady was so fat that her rolls were spilling over physically onto my girlfriend, and it was a completely full flight so there wasn't anywhere else to sit. The best part is that after they land one of the flight attendants was like "yeah we're taking you to go see a gate agent for some compensation, this is bullshit and the gate agent in Vegas never should have let her onto the plane without having a second ticketed seat"...they're talking with the gate agent about what had happened and the fat lady comes out of nowhere and starts screaming about how she's not that fat and this is discrimination and she doesn't need an extra seat. The whole thing sounded incredibly surreal.

part 2 is one of the best movies ever made and is one of the few trilogy films to break the stigma with the second being better than the first (Empire Strikes Back is the only other one I can think of off-hand) but yeah lol at part 3....it's not BAD as a movie on its own, as the story is kind of interesting (especially all the Papal stuff) and Pacino turns in a very good performance. But compared to the first two it just pales in comparison. and yeah holly bloops you need to watch Pulp Fiction. There's a reason it's got the rep it does. As far as I'm concerned it and Reservoir Dogs are the only two Tarantino films that are required viewing, which is not to say that everything else is bad...just that those two rise head and shoulders above the rest.
