What was that giant heart....thing at the end? Was it a skinned body or something?

FourLeaf posted:It was the guy Hannibal killed. I know who it is, just wondering what the hell they did to him. I'm guessing it's his skinned limbless torso now.

I was wrecking my brain trying to figure out why Tom Wisdom looked so familiar and finally remembered he plays the Archangel Micheal on Dominion. Which in a show that is arguably about Lucifer is sort of fitting I suppose.

Hi Res spoiler pics for the next 2 episodes here Chiyoh (Tao Okamoto) who plays the former attendant to Hannibal's aunt looks beautiful. Wonder who the caged man is?

That 'Impulsive' part was probably the funniest scene so far in the show. Gillian's expression was absolutely priceless. I wonder if this was what Bryan was referring to when he said she had a hilarious bit in the new season.

@DeLaurentiisCo: 2015-06-22 21:22:26 UTC #Hannibal was always in danger of cancellation due to subject matter, and others have expressed interest in partnering with us. I'm not too worried, this isn't a real shock to anyone and I remember Bryan Fuller mentioning Amazon being keen to pick them up should NBC cancel.

Basebf555 posted:You've encapsulated Brett Ratner's entire career in one sentence. Ralph Fiennes and Emily Watson both did a fantastic job in Red Dragon. Richard Armitage is a terrific actor but I'm still skeptical if Rutina Wesley can pull off Reba McClane. She wasn't that great in True Blood.

First of all, Fishburne doesn't get nearly enough accolades for his acting, he was utterly heartbreaking in this episode. The fact that Gina Torres is his RL wife must have made it even harder to shoot. Her presence will also be greatly missed. Second of all, it's the same bouquet Chilton brings every time right? I love the idea that no one wanted his flowers, so he just kept using the same bouquet for each visit.

FourLeaf posted:This shows how the actress definitely has a whole new look for this season representing her change. Way more makeup, dramatically red lipstick. A way less natural look than before. In that last pic her face almost looks rubbery. It probably symbolizes how she's been forced to harden and develop barriers between herself and other people rather than staying vulnerable and being utterly manipulated. Possibly also foreshadowing for ulterior motives Alana has in helping Mason. That last scene and close up was very creepy. Her whole face especially the eyes looked inhuman.

Couldn't stop laughing at that amazing lesbian scene. It was so over the top and pretentious. Just pure Hannibal. I'm sure someone is jacking off to it though.

Jesus Christ the baby in a pig was some grotesque Cronenberg body horror poo poo. Just like the surgeons in red scene, the lighting and colors really pays tribute to him. Also, I don't think I can handle anymore face slicing. Nothing makes me squirms more than seeing flesh get slowly sliced off and boy there sure is a lot of that this season.

I didn't think they could top the bloody dinner finale but the last 5 mins of this one were truly insane. And quite unexpectedly moving. Just gently caress you NBC, Netflix and Amazon. I still can't believe we are never getting another season again. I'm genuinely heartbroken.
