I missed all of the fanfiction talk, was fanfic read? Was it created? Do I want to know?...

Spec Ops erotic fanfiction was mentioned, so since I am allergic to impulse control I decided to seek some out, first on fanfiction.net which yielded nothing, and then to archive of our own. The first result there was an M-Rated fanfiction where the first paragraph contains the author lovingly and erotically describing Lugo being murdered. We found literal torture porn.

Then in later chapters it turns into a slice of life romance between Walker and Lugo featuring such things as Lugo doing laundry and Walker making fun of his hairy bush in the shower. we have fun on these streams

I too had to seek it out, knowing it exists. Welp! I'm feeling not so classy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRnGjnzZiIY If you want to know more about the spec ops erotica watch my good friend Faerie Fortune's stream of cities skylines that she did, it was fun and chill and we talk more at length about spec ops erotica in it. So yknow, spoilers for the spec ops stream, I guess.

Jesus Christ that firefight. How many hours does it take you to get through it?

Shei-kun posted:Jesus Christ that firefight. It wasn't hours, it was days. Two days over the span of three weeks. I think there was close to 10 hours of footage. Best of all, in the original LP, CJacobs only feigned going insane. In the FUBAR stream... he actually goes nuts near the end

You know, this is the LP/thread that just keeps on giving. First, a solid LP of Spec Ops: The Line, then a whole bunch of thread arguing that was actually pretty sophisticated and intelligent and to add even more some good streams. It's a shame that the LP archive doesn't archive thread replies.

I got around that by quoting a tonne of informative quotes in the Killzone LP. It's up to CJacobs to decide if he wants to gather together a thread-chat-quote-post for archival.

Didn't rewatch the entire hard run, but the ordinary run was good enough for me. I do like how the ending and epilogue play out. There's enough branching there to provide four reasonable finishes and I like that all of them feel just as plausible.
