  Welcome to Democracy mafia! This is a closed setup for 13 players. It is a fairly traditional game; there will probably be little that isn't featured on the SA Mafia Wiki. However there might still be some surprises thrown your way! But not very big surprises, if any at all. Well, I guess it depends on how easily you’re surprised. The standard mafia rules apply: don't do anything that could be construed as "not in the spirit of mafia." No truth/dare, no toxx clauses, no editing posts, no out of thread communication (unless stated as permissible in your role pm), no using powers you don’t have, don’t post when you’re dead, don’t post mod communication, don’t try and solve the game with encryption or any of that bullshit. Minor infractions will result in a warning. Major infractions will get you modkilled. If you have any questions as to what is allowed, please contact me first. In some games I host, flavor can be useful to give hints about roles or the setup. This is not one of those games. Flavor cannot be used to solve this game in any way shape or form. It’s just for fun. Specifically, in the flavor in this game everyone’s character will participate in the story. It has nothing to do with their alignment. Seriously. Posting is Very Important[TM] to me. Those of you who know me know I hate lurkers with the passion of a thousand exploding suns, etc. etc. If you don’t want to put even minimal effort in this game, please do not join. However I realize people have lives, and not everyone will be submitting a flurry of posts constantly. If I don’t think you’re posting enough, I will prod you. If you continue to fail to post enough, you may be replaced (Day 1-Day 2) or Modkilled (D3+). If you have a reason why you're not posting, feel free to tell me -- I'm almost a reasonable guy so I may even be merciful. Seriously, though, just don’t lurk. Please. It ruins the game for everyone. Deadlines are a great way to encourage participation. Every game day will have a deadline. If majority voting has not been reached by then, the day will end on a nolynch. If a majority vote comes before the deadline, it will end the day early. To sign up, simply say whether you want to play or be a replacement and whether or not you have PMs. If you don't have PMs, also include an email address so I can get in touch with you easily. PM is the best way to get in contact with me. As always, new players are welcome. Priority will be given to new players and players who are in fewer games.
