since gamefaqs has been around for a million years there's an enormous amount of very cool guides written by crazy people on the site. post the best tips and tricks you can find.

I like this guy, who I saw added a faq two days ago for a Japanese only NES game that was a promotional release for the Hong Kong classic Mr. Vampire

people like this are an inspiration to gamers everywhere.

with enough esoteric knowledge about an underplayed game, you could be a hero to people trying to figure it out everywhere, but writing your own gamefaq. :patriot:

DreThug Presents Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball.

DreThug posted:

When I got this game it was a long long time ago. Probably around 5 years at
the earliest. I don't remember much, but I am very happy I got this game.

Gameplay: 10/10 - The gameplay is solid. The season mode is great and the two
player mode is just as good. You can play with every team. The only thing bad
is that the people are not real. You can change the people though so you can
have real teams. The game is so fun I am still playing it.

Graphics - 1/10 - The graphics were average a long time ago and now they are
really bad. But as all games go, graphics are not the thing that makes the game
good or bad.

Sound - 10/10 - I love the backround midi or whatever it is that is playing
while I'm playing the game. There isn't that much more sound than that except
the umpire and the bat hitting the ball.

Replay Value - 10/10 - I am still playing this game. It came out in like 94 I
think and its almost 2000. What does this tell you? This is the greatest
baseball game ever. It is so much fun. If you don't have a SNES you should get
one and get this game. This is way better than the sequel in my opinion.

Overall - 10/10 - The best baseball game I have ever played. If you have a SNES
make sure you go buy this game for like 10 bucks. It's will worth it. I am so
happy I bought this game for my SNES.

I enjoy this one, unironically, for going into some intense detail about a game mechanic pretty much nobody uses extensively, because it is not very good.

like he says the reason he's not providing any strategies or information on the game besides "fight some, until [boss]" is that he is doing it spoiler-free, but it is actually loaded with spoilers, and it concludes by thanking his sister's friend who he obviously has a crush on but can't even type it into the gamefaq.

none of the secret of mana faqs have the answer to a question i have always had, which is whether after you get magic to level, the little percentage thing that goes up to 99 does anything.

The first number or the
number that is left of the colon is the current level that elemental is at.
The number to the right is the percent is it to the next level. So I look at
the number above as being at level 1 and 15% to level 2.

The percent to the next level increases every time that elemental is
summoned. When you are at lower levels the percent will increase faster then
when you get to later levels.

Your magic level can reach to a max of 8:99 after collecting all 8 Mana
seeds.

Why do you think that? I think it's just technical limitations that force them to stop the number at 99.

Why wouldn't it just stop at 8:00 like the weapons? (except for the glitch which sometimes makes weapons gets a few extra points)
