You should message Darlene for more info about Mrs.Berry's husband. He works as a real estate agent. You'll need to give HR that info and they give you the file. This was a stunning episode. I loved the spotlight on Darlene, especially Mobley and Trenton's first meeting where she reads Elliot's speech from the pilot to them. For a show with a season and a half, it plays with its history so well.

I feel like she can totally become a villain on the show. I also wonder if she was sexually abused as a child based on those library books. Hopefully more info about her past is revealed on the show. Elliot is a lot more manipulative than I initially thought. I wonder if this show will end up portraying them as the "bad ones" in later seasons. I did like how in the game the metadata/keys Darlene wants you to give her so she can get into certain files are hidden in the code of a picture. That picture, by the way, is of the Alderson family on vacation. But maybe that could have just been in my "good" ending--the last thing Darl sent to me was a picture of her in the fsociety mask flipping me off.

That scene when they first me and Darlene chided him for letting people put malware on his phone is what's making me think in this direction, I doubt the payoff for that scene is just him deleting and tossing a phone.

Yeah, he isn't sure that his phone isn't being tracked. That's why he put it on that guy's bicycle, instead of a trash can. It will take a while to notice that he ditched it, if the phone is still moving. My guess is that he really wanted to meet her, but got caught by the dark army before he made it to the restaurant. They saw that he was taken in by the FBI and that he is ditching his phone and freaked.

Didn't the dark army compromise the FBI? They probably knew he got picked up and put a tail on him as soon as he was released, so he never had a chance.

Best episode of the season so far. That episode was rich with content. I don't think it was the best because Elliot wasn't in it, but by siloing him in a prison they've forced his personal narrative to miss out on the larger situation that we are interested in seeing resolve (5/9 hack, what happens next, will they be found out, etc etc). Or I guess rather, the quality of the show is equal regardless of if Elliot is on screen or not, but I'm more interested in the content of this episode. I'm also really glad that the same week I posted "will that chick ever go back to her apartment," she did.

"You aged very well" is quite appropriate for Sandrine Holt who does not look that older since making Rapa Nui when Carly Chaikin was 4 years old.

If White Rose is looking out for Elliot while he's in prison, it's possible that the Dark Army is watching over Darlene. They might have intercepted information from the FBI, instructing Cisco to keep her safe. The webcam footage would be his proof that he's compliant. If anything happened to his sister he'd definitely lose his mind completely. They'd have no use for him then.

Elliot is a "ends justify the means" person, from this game it does reveal that they're is something deeply disturbing about her personality compared to Elliot's. She doesn't really have morals while Elliot sort of does.

Criminy, I had no idea her actress is in her 40s. I kinda balked at the idea of her being a lawyer when Darlene was just 4 years old, too. That's some graceful-as-gently caress aging because I thought she was around my age (early 30s) at best.

The Sean posted:One thing that really bothers me so far is that in any of Elliot's flashbacks to his childhood we never see his sister Darlene. Maybe I'm wrong but I only have seen his dad and his mom--including what seems to be family photos early in the first season. I don't want to make the call so far, but Elliot seems to interact with his sister in the first few episodes in situations separate from his hacking crew and I haven't seen his crew speak to her directly. About mid-way through episode 2 Darlene says some snappy poo poo about their operation and the bearded white guy responds "Boss, blah blah blah" assumedly at Elliot. At this point Darlene shouldn't be his boss, right? I'm not going to say she's fake right now but I'm questioning everything and Darlene keeps showing up out of nowhere. We obviously see Darlene chilling with Angela later in the season, I'll admit. I'm just quoting this because I just watched the episode and I'm reading through the thread and this paragraph made me laugh. I wonder if, when I finish reading the thread, The Sean will have completely recanted this statement or if he still hasn't watched the episode. E: the call backs really are great. When the scene opened in the coffee shop I was like "Hey, that's where Elliot owned the kiddy porn coffee shop owner!" and then as they talked about the other location with the fat pipe, then it was clear that the other location was the place. Probably repeating the obvious and its been said before but there are also the few in TV clues that link Darlene to the famous fictional victim of pedophilia Lolita- she wears those iconic heart sunglasses as Sue Lyon's portrayal in the Kubrick movie and her screen name is "D0loresH4ze" or Lolita's true name Dolores Haze. Although I agree that she may become a villain-like character I think whatever we learn about her past is going to be so dark that she'll come off as more tragic and lost than detestable.

Hey guys, long time Mr. Robot watcher, first time Mr. Robot thread poster. Has it been shown yet what it was Cisco was injected with when the Dark Army guys held him and stuck a needle in hid finger? Is it possible that they injected him with HIV positive blood (or blood infected with something or other) knowing they had a long term play for him to at some point sleep with Darlene and unwittingly pass some virus on to her? That sounds like the type of evil poo poo they would do to gain control over someone (provide/withhold medication based on whether they follow instructions or not). If it has been explained it was Cisco was injected with then ignore me, I'm an idiot for missing it.
