So I just binged through both seasons and I think it's safe to say that the entire show is just an elaborate fantasy an autistic Elliot made up while staring into a snow globe with an E Corp building inside.

That whole bit about moses also hearing voices and that, and it making sense to him, leads me to believe he's going to develop bad schizophrenia. My mate's dad had that happen to him, ended up thinking he was God.

I like when both possibilities are pretty much equally likely, they could have really gone in either direction and still made a good show, which makes the eventual reveal, or the moments where we're questioning it, all the less predictable and more interesting. It's like when Game of Thrones has two cool interesting characters fight to the death, you don't want either of them to die but you know one will, though they kinda hosed that up later on.

I think they've implied quite heavily that they've both spent a significant amount of time together, off camera. We just don't see that because we're stuck with Elliot's perspective.

I really liked the prison stuff, though I didn't really see it as a "twist".
