It is a journey designed to awaken the host from the bicameral state to the conscious state. Arnold creates a number of sentient hosts and builds the milk-coffin machine in the church basement to transform himself into a host. This is the origin of the fleshy robots. Arnold attempts to seize Westworld with the hosts. Ford intervenes by updating the sentient hosts including arnold, trapping them with loops and commands. He has total control. Ford and Management erase Arnold’s history, and update Arnold to believe his name is Bernard. Ford uses his power over Bernard to finish Westworld development. ———— Theresa arrives at Westworld and begins using the bicameral broadcast to disrupt hosts, posing as arnold. She also learns bernard’s commands (Indulge me and Charlie possible commands) and begins to use him for her purposes ———- Ford has access to the church basement, where the milk coffin is. He also has a strange object in glass on his desk that holds great importance. ——— Will meets Maeve in the frontier Will connects with sentient Dolores Logan’s last name is Delos Logan Dies Will convinces delos family to accept ownership of park instead of lawsuit 30 years later Old Will learns that torture is the best means of communicating with sentient hosts, to interrupt loops and updates He wants to complete the maze, which leads back to the church. Zaphod42 posted:The pilot is big into repetition because the characters are living in loops. That's a fundamental part of the plot. Dolores has done these things before and has to have in order to be able to remember them to break from her loops. That's her whole character development. That's the crux of the entire show. Maeve too, with noticing the drawings of the techs. That doesn't mean that there's multiple timeframes. That's what I'm saying though. Will and Logan conspicuously avoid those loops why?
