Yeah, it gave the impression he was playing it cool more than anything else. It's weird how different Aoshima's overworked sprite looks to all the others but that's the only sprite weirdness that's jumped out so far.

Probably because she looks emaciated and wrinkly as opposed to having anime-perfect skin like she does every other time.

![]() If you're just joining us now, in our previous instalment Tendo got into a bit of sticky situation when Kakkii's ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ...well, that's not good. ![]() ![]() Naoko, calm down!![]() Give me the knife!![]() Naoko.![]() Naoko... calm down! Kagayaki-san is alive! Give me the knife.![]() Naoko! Come here!![]() ![]() Ah, yes. It's been a while since we had to do this. ![]() this.) Love this background! Nice reflection of her state of mind. Listen, Naoko. You didn't stab Kakkii on purpose. It was an accident. That's not true! I did stab Kakkii. I can't be a Kakkii fan anymore... That's why I have to die... Don't say such silly things. If you commit suicide, Kagayaki-san would be very sad! That's not true! I stabbed Kakkii! (What should I do...? What should I do to make Naoko give me the knife? She is serious... If I don't do something...)So... here is the decision point. You only need present her with one item, but you also only get one chance to do it. If you present the wrong item, well... she actually goes through with it and stabs herself (we'll see this option next time). In a fashion typical of this game, if you let this happen, you are (wait for it)... forever locked out of dating Aoshima. Just as a reminder, the last save point was actually before the Miina operation--so if you fail here, you have to go back and redo that, but don't forget to do it in less that 3 minutes, because otherwise you are (wait for it)... forever locked out of dating Aoshima. Yes, the way to romancing Aoshima is like a minefield. In any case, the item you need to give to her are those VIP concert tickets we got from Kakkii a long long time ago! Naoko! This is a thank you present for visiting Kagayaki-san. He couldn't give it to you directly, so I'm doing it instead.![]() ![]() to visit. Really? Naoko, whatever you might think... you are important to Kagayaki-san! Listen. Kagayaki-san understands very well that you didn't stab him on purpose. Kagayaki-san will forgive you.![]() Convince successful! ![]() ![]() Also, if you were wondering why the dog is in the story... Oh...!express Naoko! Aoshima-san! Please make sure that Naoko is alright! All... all right!Moments later... ![]() Suzu-sensei!![]() ![]() ![]() So we are basically going straight into an emergency operation to save Kakkii. It's not particularly stressful since there are no hidden conditions with this one. So we can just relax and do it in our time. ![]() small blade... ![]() ![]() Did I already mention that Suzu is awesome? ![]() Thoracic cavity is basically the part of human body that is enclosed by the ribs. He's having trouble breathing so it's possible one of his lungs has been injured. Tendo, what steps are we going to follow?![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Slide it through the mouth deep down into the trachea. Don't let go of it! Be careful not to insert it into the oesophagus.![]() If you've ever watched a show like E.R. or similar, you have surely seen this done. The goal is to insert a rubber tube trough the trachea to maintain an open airway. Like Suzu said, it's important not to insert it into the oesophagus--it helps if you know that in this lying position trachea is the upper opening and oesophagus lower. There is not much to this, except for the fact that we don't have good visibility. ![]() ![]() Like so. ![]() Open the front area of the left chest, near the fourth rib. Hurry up.![]() But first, as always, the disinfectant. I'm going to make an incision in the thoracic region!![]() ![]() The incision is a little strangely shaped, but you can always "concentrate" to get a hint where to cut. I'm going to incise the intercostal muscle. Electric scalpel please!Intercostal muscles run between the ribs. ![]() Other than the annoyance of electric scalpel, this is not hard. Moving to the next step, I will incise the pleura.Pleura is just another membrane in the chest area, around the lungs. ![]() Nothing much to this one either, just keep cutting deeper and deeper. ![]() ![]() up-down movements, because you'll damage the lung. ![]() ![]() Another easy one, we just need to pull that knife out by using a forceps. ![]() Like so. ![]() very fragile. ![]() the pledgeted suture. Pledgeted suture is one supported by small pads, in order to minimise risk of tissue tearing. ![]() Gameplay-wise, there is no real difference. ![]() ![]() All we need to do now is close up. ![]() Let's not forget to suture the entry wound too! ![]() ![]() ![]() I didn't do well on accuracy here. But the operation itself is quite easy, and there is a save point right before, so no reason not to try again if you want. ![]() ![]() was able to handle this so calmly. ![]() ![]() ![]() Later... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah, but still, to do such a thing. It's incredible... I'm sure that everyone would agree to that point. It was just stupid. But she isn't the only one at fault... I'm also partly to blame. I have to admit... my carelessness...![]() became an overnight sensation because of the media coverage and was officially appointed as Seimei Medical University Hospital's first therapy dog. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I think that Cookie officially became one of us because of his own courage.![]() think? Yeah, that's what it is.![]() Overly literal translation from Japanese just grates, because "at that time" is a typical Japanese expression for this, but not really, I think, a way native English speaker would express themselves. ![]() protected me, Doctor... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ah.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok, let's go see Miina-san.![]() Me? Why?![]() ![]() Next time you don't feel well please don't wait. Come in immediately.![]() ![]() to men, little by little. ![]() Wasn't it you who said I was harmless?![]() ![]() Right, Mi? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Don't you just love it when everything gets neatly tied up in a tidy little package? Well, that's that as far as Episode 2 goes, hopefully you enjoyed it; next time we'll revisit some of the failure points and then it's onto Episode 3. In order to shake things up a bit, the third episode will take us far away from the Seimei hospital... but let's not get ahead of ourselves. ivantod fucked around with this message at 20:53 on Oct 1, 2015 |

Man it sure was easy to teach that girl how wrong she was to be so obsessive about Kakki and to cure Minna of her androphobia!

I don't think that fan is cured. She was saved by convincing her that Kakki still loves her. She just went home to build a giant pen to hold him in her basement.

Yeah uhh, we told the murderous, overly-obsessive fan that her object of obsession is perfectly fine with her stabbing him. That can't end well at all. Like I get that there wasn't really any other way to fix that situation but that is most definitely not the way to fix that girl. Then again I think I'd fail that on purpouse just to have her kill herself, because oh god she was so annoying. And let her kill the idiot superstar too. But not the dog, the dog's cool. Cookie's the best.

Blaze Dragon posted:Yeah uhh, we told the murderous, overly-obsessive fan that her object of obsession is perfectly fine with her stabbing him. That can't end well at all. Well to be honest, Tendo did say that they took Naoko to another hospital, so I suppose we can assume that they will keep her there for a while at least for some sort of psychiatric observation. I always took what happened in the sense of just saying what you need to say to get her to calm down and then deal with the consequences later, which, as you also say, is probably what you'd end up doing in this kind of situation in real life. Blaze Dragon posted:Then again I think I'd fail that on purpouse just to have her kill herself, because oh god she was so annoying. And let her kill the idiot superstar too. This is a very interesting game...it annoys me when for plot reasons the characters/story break the rules, so to say. Like there's apparently no security at this hospital.

![]() A very short update today. Since we finished Episode 2 last time, let's quickly have a look at a couple of possibilities to fail, or at least not get an optimal result. In fact, both of these are simply about getting locked out from being able to date Aoshima. First possibility for this is after Miina's operation. If you finish in under 3 minutes, you get the scene we've seen where Tendo feeds Aoshima ramen noodles. However, if you take longer than 3 minutes, this is what happens: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() a little better and went home just a few minutes ago. Really?![]() Seems innocuous, but your dating options are now limited to Hoshi or Sanae because you were too slow! The other place to lock yourself out is during the Naoko situation. ![]() As mentioned, here you need to convince Naoko not to stab herself. You only need to use one item, but you also only get one chance, so if you choose wrongly, well... this happens: ![]() ![]() Again, the game is too cheap to have any kind of animation here, and not even the picture of her stabbing herself (but that may also be because Nintendo, though). Anyway, she's just stabbed herself here. ![]() stop it! ![]() Suzu-sensei!![]() ![]() ![]() All right, here I go!![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Later... ![]() ![]() Suzu-sensei! Have you finished treating Naoko?![]() ![]() Again, if this happens, no Aoshima for you. So that's more or less everything there is in Episode 2; these "failures" are not really especially interesting but I though I would show them anyway. However, the game WILL get worse with these "you must do X (which we won't tell you) or else you don't get Y" things. Next time on LifeSigns: ![]() Episode 3: A Massive Outbreak of Jellyfish!
That was pretty after Chapter 1's failure mode. There's only an extra scene with Cookie and that's it.
Cookie is the ugliest corgi I have ever seen.
Sheesh, if we're too slow in the OR a child dies but if we mess up convincing a kid not to kill herself Suzu just takes care of it like it's nothing? Way to shrink away from consistent consequences game.
Actually I think it is reasonably consistent. Suzu was actually around this time, whereas before Aoshima and Tendo were literally the only available doctors in attendance. They say that Suzu is really good at what she does, so yeah. Granted, what the game does NOT explain well is why this locks us out of Aoshima in the first place. (Though to be fair, an actual new player wouldn't know for sure whether the dating thing exists in the first place).

![]() ![]() ![]() Cookie, the therapy dog, became very popular at the hospital. But I haven't seen Naoko at all since that day... And... Summer has come.![]() ![]() (I'm going to spend the whole summer here.) Famous last words. ![]() ![]() ![]() (She's my stepsister. She was hospitalised here last year for leukaemia. Luckily our bone marrow matched and she made a full recovery. Now she's attending school like a regular kid.)![]() Note taken: About Hikaru! We have a bit of a mistranslation going here. Hikaru is actually Tendo's HALF sister, not stepsister. The Japanese version is clear in that it actually mentions Hikaru's family name, which is Sawai, and also that she and Tendo have different mothers. The Japanese text is actually pretty unambiguous, so I'm not sure what happened here. I envy you, Hikaru. I miss summer vacation. Don't you have a summer vacation? Normally... but I don't think I'll be able to take a vacation this year...![]() Plans?![]() ![]() but I didn't get to go! (The whole family... I wonder where I fit in...) Sorry, next year we'll go somewhere together for sure.![]() Hey, Hikaru...!Uh-oh. Better catch her before she gets to Sawai! Let's see... where might she be? Nurse's room? ![]() ![]() She looked really angry... Yeah... She's on summer holiday, but I can't take her anywhere. Doctor, you made her angry? That's not very brotherly... But if you're busy... I guess it can't be helped... This is the last year of my internship. I have to get as much experience as I can before deciding on a future. That's true. Last year seemed hard enough...Note that Hoshi was actually a character also in the first game, so she knows what she's talking about! Hoshi-san, are you going to visit your parents this year?![]() time. ![]() Eh?![]() ![]() Have a safe trip.Next stop: Paediatrics. ![]() Um, thank you game. ![]() Eh?![]() Yeah, I just spoke to her. What happened? Why are you so gloomy? We had a bit of a fight. Well, they say that the closer you are the more you fight, right, Tendo?I guess that's true... I do "fight" with my sister too, but it never amounts to anything in the end. Yeah... (Dr. Ueto was in charge of Hikaru when she was a patient here last year. I really owe Dr. Ueto.)I really will try to prepare relevant parts from the first game because at least this bit/father revelation would probably be interesting to see. I can't promise, because it does involve translating the whole thing from Japanese (and the first game is just as wordy as this one), but I will do my best. By the way, you know who we haven't spoken to at all in quite a while? ![]() I just saw Hikaru. ![]() Well... I'm busy...![]() in this place. ![]() family thinking? I'm in charge of your treatment...![]() Be nice to your sister. Next stop: Suzu. ![]() ![]() ![]() This seems to be escalating completely out of proportion by now! I don't have time. There are so many things I have to do. Suzu-sensei, I want to help the Third Department of Surgery this year.![]() But...![]() don't you think you should spend some time with your sister? Outside... ![]() Well then. Let's go and do just that. It will be fun, I'm sure. ![]() (That's Hikaru...) Excuse me, may I?![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Is this, by any chance... about the trip?![]() ![]() ![]() better? ![]() vacation. ![]() trick me again! ![]() Note taken: Hikaru's feelings! Listen... would it be OK if I took you on a trip?![]() According to hospital rules, I can have three days of vacation...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (Oh? That was easier than I thought.)![]() I'll use the computer in the library! Uh... Are you really all right with this? Yes, but there is one condition. (Of course, there's always something...) I'll give you four extra days. A week should be enough to go and have some fun. A whole week...![]() Of course, I understand that. Professor Sawai... Wouldn't it be better if you took her on the trip? You don't have to tell me. I know... So what's your decision? Will you take Hikaru on a trip? Of course, there's no reason not to. That's what I was hoping you would say. Eh?![]() her. ![]() Yes, let's go there. ![]() ![]() Here is a clean version of that screenshot so you can see what it looks like when it's not obscured by ugly pasted on translation ![]() There is a bit of play on words here with the name of the spa, that's perhaps a bit difficult to translate. Over there in the top right it says: 寝床屋 ねどこや, which was translated as "Nedokoya spa", "Nedokoya" being the name of it. However, the Japanese text says, literally, "Nedokoya nedokoya" (first word is spelled with Kanji, and second with hiragana, but they are pronounced the same); you could interpret "nedokoya" to mean something like guesthouse ("nedoko" means "bed" and "ya" can mean "house" or some variation on that theme) so the whole thing means pretty much "Guesthouse" guesthouse, i.e. a guesthouse that is actually named "Guesthouse". I'm not going to criticise the translation because I have no clue where I would even begin to translate something like this! What are "Kijimuna Elves"? They're legendary creatures from the southern islands. This is actually true; Kijimuna are creatures from Okinawan mythology that loosely resemble small redheaded children.![]() beaches or riversides. ![]() better, don't you? You're awfully well informed about this. Not really. They're just old myths and legends. Everyone used to believe in them. Hikaru, is that where you want to go?![]() ![]() looking forward to this...) Oh, Tendo... ![]() Note taken: Nedokoya Website! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Aoshima-san, please take care of Heikichi-san.![]() Have fun, Hikaru! ![]() ![]() Episode 3 has quite a long intro before the title! ![]() Japanese title is actually "Girl from southern island", but I guess that's close enough.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The writing on his t-shirt (めんそーれ旅人) means "Welcome, tourists" in Okinawan language/dialect.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Is it jellyfish season?![]() It's strange. ![]() Note taken: Massive jellyfish outbreak! ![]() ![]() Excuse me, are you from Nedokoya, by any chance?![]() ![]() intriguing. ![]() You might be getting angry with the translator here for not making her accent come across... but actually the punchline here is something completely different, that I'm not sure how to translate over into English. Anyway, the joke is not that this girl speaks in some weird Okinawan dialect; the joke is that she speaks normal Japanese but keeps using English words instead of Japanese in random places! Hikaru presumably doesn't speak English and thinks this is some sort of local accent, as will be seen from the rest of this dialogue. Yes, definitely...![]() You don't have to try to adjust to us... Please speak as you normally would.![]() Waginoma Island! ![]() ![]() Note taken: About Kaori! This cute girl must be Hikaru, and you're the doctor from the big city. Dr. Tendo, right? We're planning to stay for a week. I hope it's not too much trouble.![]() ![]() A randomly ominous shot of a bunch of jellyfish... ![]() ...and then we are on the map. But we'll explore more next time.

It's a good thing that it was only Tendo there. I can only imagine how incredibly awkward a family vacation would be with that family. A woman who has no actual connection to Tendo, a dad that Tendo does not recognise as such (and who has been less than fatherly to his son), and his little sister. I can fully see why he doesn't know if he has a spot there, because he frankly does not.

Alright, where's the island clinic? Because the odds we'll have to help out there are somewhere between "yes" and "duh".

Jellyfish, huh. I'm sure nothing will come of all that ![]() I really do feel for Tendo though. Dude is still not a full doctor and he also has to deal with his family troubles on top of that.

Having a bone marrow match between blood relatives makes a lot more sense than having unrelated step-siblings. Not only is the translation inaccurate, but it also adds a bit of a plot hole too.

You know, all things considered I have to say that I don't really have too much of a problem with Sawai.. Like, yes he's kind of a bastard and is putting a lot of pressure on Tendo and being less than charming about it, but here he's showing rather clear concern for his daughter Meanwhile he's definitely been a hardass, but he's also been rather reasonable with Tendo involving matters of judgement. Like in the unoptimal results for Chapter one, even if Tendo isn't able to save both patients from dying, he recognizes that it's not his fault. He goes along with the therapy dog idea because he recognizes it means less trouble for his staff to placate the rock star. He wants to vacation with his daughter, but he's exceptionally busy and can't find time for it so when Tendo doing it comes up, he jumps at the chance to allow his daughter what she wants and what he wishes he could do. Maybe I'm just being optimistic here, but I think Sawai's heavy pressures on Tendo are because it's the only way he can express pride in the child he never really knew. He's being hard because he has confidence that his expectations can be met while also making it clear that he's not playing favorites among the staff just because they're biologically related.
You know, now that you mention it like that I can definitely appreciate Sawai's writing here. Tendo has hard feelings towards him, yes, and yeah he's an rear end in a top hat but he's honestly fairly reasonable. Despite resembling one of the Phoenix Wright antagonists, he's alright.

![]() Last time, Tendo and his sister Hikaru arrived to Waginoma, one of Japan's southern islands (and, as far as I can tell, a fictional one). There's been some (totally not ominous) mentions of a jellyfish infestation in the sea surrounding the island... but I'm sure that's not going to amount to anything. In any case, this part of the game is mainly about seafood. ![]() We stopped here on the map... ![]() ...so let's make our way to "Southern road"... ![]() ...where we again run into Kaori. ![]() I'd love to go to a big city. I'm planning to go to Tokyo with my friend some day. Kaori, when you come to Tokyo, I'd be happy to show you around. Really? That's so nice of you! I'm working here part time to save money for my trip.![]() Note updated: About Kaori! ![]() (She sure talks a lot.)![]() ![]() It... um, has character I guess. This hotel is very... rustic.![]() ![]() ![]() Welcome to our little hotel. ![]() Will you be available during our stay? If we have any questions? Yamazaki-san is always here for his guests. Since his wife left, he's been managing the hotel by himself. Hey! No need to talk about that... Well, I have to get dinner ready. Excuse me.![]() Still, it's great that you've managed to upkeep the hotel by yourself. Not really, it's a small hotel with only four rooms. I wouldn't be able to handle it otherwise.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Tendo, do you want to change first? Actually, I'm fine like this. I'm wearing my swimsuit under my clothes. Ok, I'll change quickly. Wait outside. Roger.![]() We actually have a second level map, just for the house. ![]() Let's head to the kitchen. ![]() ![]() Oh, so those are Kijimuna Elves? They were also on the Nedokoya web page. Didn't you see them? Now that you mention it, I think I did see them...![]() appear near the seaside. What do you mean appear? Kijimuna Elves aren't real... That's not true.![]() elves? Kijimuna Elves are protective fairies who take care of the island people. Protective faeries, like Shiisaa Lions? Yeah, like Shiisaa Lions, but Kijimuna Elves are local to Waginoma. So if Shiisaa Lions are like a Metropolitan Police Department, Kijimuna Elves are more like a police substation.![]() Let's return to the reception, Hikaru should be ready by now... ![]() Yes, I'm going for a swim.Suddenly... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() trouble. ![]() A sudden crashing sound! ![]() Ouch!![]() Are the two of you all right? Yeah, sure. Are you all right?![]() Are you a guest here?![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() He seems to be a local. He seems a bit younger than me.![]() Oh, yeah, about that... Hey... the ferryman told us there were more jellyfish than usual this year.![]() ![]() kitchen. You should take it along with you. If you are stung by a jellyfish, just put some vinegar on the sting... and you'll be able to remove the tentacle without a problem. Do the jellyfish gather around the beach? If you stay in the sandy part, I don't think there will be a problem. The jellyfish are really making it hard for the fishermen though... Even poor quality fish are expensive these days. That's why I serve the fish that my part-timer catches by herself.![]() Received: Vinegar! After this, we can hop over to the kitchen to get the vinegar... ![]() ...and then we can head off to the beach. ![]() Hang on! I'm coming!![]() Hikaru! What happened?![]() Hikaru! Show me your leg! It hurts... ouch! (Something's stuck to her foot... a tentacle? What kind of tentacle?) It's a jellyfish tentacle! Oh, that's not good... But you said that it'd be all right to play on the beach. Never mind what I said, you need first aid! ...It's really stuck. It could be dangerous to try to force it off...No, problem, that's why we brought vinegar with us! (Oh, yeah, I should use the vinegar I got from the hotel!)![]() Received: Jellyfish tentacle! Ok, it's gone. I'll put some ointment on it now. Do I need to go to a hospital...?Meanwhile, a bit further away... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() southern sea! ![]() She was stung by a jellyfish!![]() ![]() ...and there it is. There had to be. Hm, what's this about... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Your father just went on a house call. ![]() ![]() I gave her first aid, but... It isn't too swollen. Does it hurt? It's not so bad anymore. I think it should be all right now. I'll give you a compress, just in case. Thank you.![]() Yeah...![]() ![]() season. Jellyfish numbers have increased drastically recently. Maybe it's better not to go in the water.![]() ![]() ![]() Still, you don't want to be stung by a jellyfish, do you?![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hm, I'm sensing a bit of discontent here. Mraagvpeine posted:Are jellyfish a major problem in real life? Not really. Although there are a few whose venom is dangerous, most of them are just a mild annoyance and don't really require any particular treatement other than possibly removing bits of tentacle from the skin (and for that, rinsing in vinegar indeed does help as shown in the game). I've been stung by a jellyfish a number of times as a kid and usually it just itches for a bit and then it goes away, really nothing to worry about in most cases.

Though Japan has been having issues with explosions in Jellyfish populations that's been interfering with fishing and littering beaches - including boats capsizing from the weight of them in the nets, and are nearly impossible to kill.

Did you have to, like, USE VINEGAR ON COUSIN or was it auto-applied? I know you're pulling out inventory puzzles when they're big multi-step affairs, but I'm just curious how much hand-holding there is in this regard.

I know you're pulling out inventory puzzles when they're big multi-step affairs, but I'm just curious how much hand-holding there is in this regard. It's not auto-applied. All "puzzles" of this kind are done simply by "presenting" appropriate items or notes from the "Medical Record" section, pretty much exactly the same as you would do in Phonenix Wright with Court Record. I kind of tend to gloss over most of it at this point, in order to not interrupt the flow of dialogue, mentioning it only when it's actually important--such as here or in the "convince" sections. On an unrelated note, does anybody else feel that the game authors had a good idea with a temporary change of setting? Because I really do feel like this did bring in a bit of a fresh air into the story with a different location and some new characters for a while. But don't worry, we will be returning to the hospital at some point--but not too soon!

Well I feel it humanizes everyone a little bit, since you get to see them in a different situation. Yeah, people do take vacations every once in a while. It's also another situation where you see Sawai react to them before sending them off, and I think that itself was interesting enough since it hints at Sawai's awkward relationships he honestly seems to be trying to fix. But frankly it seems like he's something of a workaholic whose relationships keep failing out of the resulting neglect. On the actual current situation, I'm not 100% sold on the family drama we're tripping over, but I guess that's just a thing. Honestly the thing that sort of hurts suspension of disbelief is that they're probably going to cram in some sort of 'emergency doctor' thing that Tendo's going to have to deal with. But for now its a wait and see thing.

Oh yeah, the setting works out pretty well, and it also lets them introduce elements of improvisational field medicine that couldn't really be brought up in a hospital setting.

It'd be pretty neat if the local doctor just asked Tendo to help him restock the clinic and handle some minor stuff while the local doc did the inevitable jellyfish related surgery. They won't do it, but it would be neat.

It would make for a pretty boring chapter though. ivantod posted:On an unrelated note, does anybody else feel that the game authors had a good idea with a temporary change of setting? The game actually has pretty good pacing despite its translation issues. I don't remember a single part that dragged for too long. The changes in locale do a lot for it, yes.

Naoko, calm down!

That's not true! I did stab Kakkii. I can't be a Kakkii fan anymore... That's why I have to die...

All... all right!

He's having trouble breathing so it's possible one of his lungs has been injured.

Yeah, but still, to do such a thing. It's incredible...

Ok, let's go see Miina-san.

after Chapter 1's failure mode. There's only an extra scene with Cookie and that's it.

Don't you have a summer vacation?

Doctor, you made her angry? That's not very brotherly... But if you're busy... I guess it can't be helped...

What happened? Why are you so gloomy?

Yes, but there is one condition.

This cute girl must be Hikaru, and you're the doctor from the big city. Dr. Tendo, right?

I'm planning to go to Tokyo with my friend some day.

Hey! No need to talk about that...
Well, I have to get dinner ready. Excuse me.

Ouch!

It isn't too swollen. Does it hurt?
