Skip peace walker. Peace walker is great, but Phantom Pain is going to be a much much MUCH superior version and I'd be concerned about burning yourself out before playing because pw has a shitload of content. I would just do 1 2 3 4 and watch PW cutscenes on youtube then GZ

i basically fell out of mgs after 4 and it wasnt until mgr came out and i loved it, so i replayed all the games and played peace walker for the first time and now waiting for the phantom pain murders me

wtf people hate 4? even though it's mostly a giant cutscene the gameplay is awesome. sneaking through the afghan city while gunfights are happening all around you for the first time was one of those cool gaming experiences that you would like to experience fresh again. never skip any metal gear game.
