I pretty much thought so going by the specs, I'm pretty sure FH3's are much higher due to being an open world game. You could probably do 4k with a 1070 if you drop some of the uuuuuultra settings without it looking bad anyway. Funny seeing the PS4 controller listed as a compatible device tho and nice to see I can use my G27!

I might chance triple-heading the game if I can do that without nVidia's Eyefinity equivalent. My bezels aren't much worse than some of the GT3 cars.

In line now to play F7. The whole thing is Ford themed and they have Ford Focuses and a GT40. You only get to drive the Focus at Spa, too. Apparently it's running from an Xbox One and, as a nice fella told, it currently suffers from input lag issues. Also, I gotta say looking from the side so far it's not looking super sharp or much different from F6 on a normal Bone really. Looks like the light shafts got a lot of work - the sun effects are a bit over the top. Also reflexions of the cockpit on the windscreen. Ok, playthrough over. Focus RS felt super soapy, though I have no idea what the setting on it were. Also almost no sound, and I had a problem feeling the breaking. I use a G920, they had some Fanatec thing. I'm barely competent, though so take it with a grain of salt. The lack of sound was crucial for me, and I just didn't feel the breaks on that thing. It felt like playing GT4, but thats probably just me.

Forza 6 still looks great, so if Forza 7 is not that much of an improvement on Xbox One S that is okay in my opinion. As long as it's still 60FPS. Turn-10 needs to release the demo already.

Guess it's also worth mentioning this was the smallest car game stand I saw, and it was almost more of a Ford stand - you could get into a Focus and look at it in VR, and I'm not sure if that ran from Forza or not. Gran Turismo's stand was much bigger, with something like 15 play seats as opposed to Forza's 5, but PC2 was absolutely massive - possibly one of the biggest stands in the whole show. Our only point of reference up to this point has been Turn-10's bullshots in their promotional material. So it's understandable the actual gameplay is going to look underwhelming in comparison. I've been tempering my expectations for the graphics.

All I expect out of this game is a full version of f6 Apex on pc with probably frame rate drops on a 1070 in 1080 p that can't be solved by any array of settings If it runs at constant 60 they'll already exceed my expectations
