NEW SEASON STARTS WEDNESDAY JUNE 24th AT 9/8c After shaking things up last season with such story arcs like Mike quitting and Louis getting name partner things have pretty much quieted down in time for the new season. The biggest new season difference is that Harvey and Donna have both confessed their love for each other but for Donna it was too little too late and after the death of Norma, has gone to be Louis' secretary. (Also Mike asked Rachel to marry him but whatever.) Then there was Jessica's whole thing with Jeff Malone but it has been kind of rendered pointless as DB Woodside has accepted a role on NBC's Lucifer, so he's not coming back. New episode this week: "Denial" Harvey's work is impacted by changes around the office and Donna adjusts to working for Louis, who believes she's certain to return to Harvey. I do have to laugh at that episode description as even Louis is aware that almost nothing on USA shows sticks. Guest starring this season is veteran character actor John Pyper-Ferguson.

New episode tonight: "Compensation" Harvey searches for a replacement for Donna. Mike takes a case as a favor.. Rachel's father offers advice about Rachel's engagement to Mike. Louis is embroiled in surprising money matters and Jack confronts Jessica about Harvey. Frankly unless they actually add someone to the cast to replace Donna I'm going to side with Louis here and say she's going to eventually go back to Harvey.

haha what the gently caress is this episode i just started watching it and i'm on the scene with mike telling some random dude who we've never cared about that he's engaged "some times you kick rear end-" *together in unison* "and some times you get your rear end kicked" "i'm getting married" "well what country is she from?" "what?" "i'm assuming she's a mail order bride" .... this show's writing is now awful. why?

He was in one of the early seasons I think? Mikes haircut needs to go it is very distracting. And I am loving the Louis & donna salary issue. Edit: God drat this show. The Harvey/Louis feuds are getting downright comical at this point. What is that, the 5th? 6th? time Harvey has given Louis a sincere apology only to have it be nullified immediately? I still really like this show and having Wendell Pierce, John Pyper-Ferguson, and Aloma Wright will certainly help this season, but man they could really use a new hat to pull story ideas out of. Hell even just Louis+Donna vs Harvey vs Soloff could've been kind of neat, but they still turned that into the same petty feud that it always ends up being.

Yeah the show continues to knock it out of the park with guest stars and the minor characters. It's a shame that they can't seem to think of more interesting things for the main cast to do.
