I love this bit because Snipes delivers it in a completely different tone to everything else he says in the entire movie, all high-pitched and frantic rather than slow and gruff. Oh yeah it reeks of being ad libbed, and it's amazing. It seems massively out of character at first but yeah, take it in the context of Blade being completely bewildered at the stupidity of the cops to try to shoot him when there's a fried dead guy rushing about and it makes a lot of sense. I can never decide which is my favourite line out of that, "some mother fuckers always trying to ice skate up hill" or "catch you fuckers at a bad time?"
