Splatoon - Fun shooter that is unlike other shooters entirely Mario Kart 8 - The best mario kart yet with cheap dlc and a killer soundtrack Mario 3D World - Hey remember Mario 64? This feels closer to that than anything they've released since. Toad's Adventure - The mini game from 3D world got a budget release and it's supposedly really good but I haven't played it. |

i played the hell out of mk8. 72hrs straight, needle locked into maximum, no thinking, pure zone. the machine started popping, smoke billowing out, obscuring my vision and choking my breath. bowser hit me with a blue shell and knocked me into 5th place. "hella gay" i croaked out before I kakked

I just got a wiiu and a bunch of games a little less than a month ago. here's what I've found. splatoon - freaking sweet and I'm pretty addicted to it rn. lots of fun, but not for two people in the same room. don't like games that force me to use the big rear end controller either. wish it had some kind of co-op mode so I can play with the gal. Windwaker HD - Even for a remake, it's the best game I've played on the system. great port. lots of enhancements from the orig. plus you can play with a pro contoller while still having your map/items up on the main pad. buy buy buy! Mario 3d (came with system) - awesome game, probably one of my favorite Mario games, but I still like 64 more. best played with multiple ppl! Nintendoland (came with system) - alright I guess. some fun party games. really fun to play the haunted mansion one with a group of friends. wouldn't buy tho. Mario kart 8, smash bros - both are exceptional for single and multiple players. recommend picking these up for sure. |
