A simple thread with a simple purpose, talking about game shows, past and present, syndicated or prime-time to overseas shows and everything in between. And now some basic rules of the thread. 1. No debating/flaming I really don't care who is the better host of The Price is Right - Barker or Carey. I don't care that "Steve Harvey is no Richard Dawson", of course not, Dawson starred in "The Running Man". 2. Show changes/updates aren't everything You have no idea how bad the Game Show Community is outside of these forums, when you see a 13-page thread dedicated to carpet on "The Price is Right", that's right, carpet. 3. Videos are acceptable, as long as they aren't currently on-air shows If you want to talk about a really old 1960s episode of "What's My Line?" and want to post it, feel free. But unfortunately, I would not recommend posting some episode of Hollywood Game Night, unless it's through their website or Hulu. 4. For the love of god, these are game shows. Sometimes people don't know the celebrities do they work around it. People like Denzel Washington are met with "the first president of the United States" and as long as they don't say the first or last name in their clue (or what I assume going "starts with a j and rhymes with Pennifer Jawrince") then it's okay. When it's the this round and Craig gives clues, he just gives up eventually and says the name. Still no Geoff Peterson though.

Questions like "Samus Aran is the main character of what Nintendo Video Game Series?" to "Channing Tatum was the voice of what superhero - Batman or Superman?" for the prizes of a lightsaber, $500 in fandango movie tickets and an xbox one. Not to mention all the  that goes on during the show.It airs in 7 minutes, and I am pretty sure there is going to be Chuck getting so inebriated he forgets that the set he's on isn't actually a bar. here's a mini quiz of the sort of questions on the show

Updated OP, tonight is Thursday which means all the major game shows are coming on... I totally forgot about "Knock Knock Live", but I wouldn't call it a game show, as I would a "variety show", it's a toss up for "Best Time Ever" with NPH. It's premiere week of game shows, so that means a whole ton of Jeopardy and Wheel going on, well maybe just Jeopardy. But last night, American Ninja Warrior finally gave away it's top prize, as not one, but two people conquered all the courses... but only one could win the million dollar prize. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HSxPyOGCUo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aL57-jfV6QI And the new "Millionaire" has been pushed to late hours, with new host Chris Harrison, maybe it's the sign of it dying? And of course, Wheel has a minimum of $33,000 for it's 33rd season, so good news. Best Time Ever premieres tonight, but I'm not adding it to the list, only because roughly 1/5th of the show is a game show, just like Saturday Night Takeaway. But there is a format in the works, A revival of Treasure Hunt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpH48ifhsAk Treasure Hunt is one of my all-time favorite game shows, because while it was a luck-based game show, what I enjoyed the most was the workaround of skits and sketches just to reveal a prize. Here is some updates in the world of game shows, that probably a few people would care (the last update was november) - The $100,000 Pyramid is returning to ABC, hosted by Michael Strahan - The Jeopardy online test is going on, feel stupid like most of us! - Let's Make a Deal had a Nerds Rule episode featuring Stan Lee (with no Big Bang Theory References at all!) - Bad answer on Wheel of Fortune because Homemade Waffles wasn't correct - The Goldbergs had a Double Dare episode and finally two new shows Team Ninja Warrior - Which looks fun, I might do a write-up, because it is a spin-off and Easiest Game Show Ever - Featuring Michael Ian Black and here is a preview of TBS' new game show "Separation Anxiety" that's coming in March - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tEscR3II4I

Thanks for the update, I was busy the last few months with work and productions stuff to announce the SUMMER FUN & GAMES on ABC. I was thinking about rather or not to include Celebrity Food Fight on the list of shows as it's just a knock-off Hollywood Game Night. Also, while it wasn't a game show, per se. Go90 did have last month a new reality series called "The Runner" that was part "Amazing Race" and part Hide-and-Go-Seek, hosted by MatPat of YouTube "Game Theory" fame, and Kaj Larsen of Vice... I recommend checking it out if you ever get the time. I've been watching a ton of game show clips over this Holiday season. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFcfLHZoNlM The first one was a teaser of a then-not known and also cancelled before air, "Deal or No Deal" on ABC. Featuring a $2,500,000 top prize. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iklQUYFizKA And of course, the previews for "The Wall" have been coming out, which from what I'm gathering is Lebron James' Million Dollar Plinko... but because they have been recorded in 2015, either the contestants won really big and they can't afford the payout, the contestants won nothing, and it makes for low viewership, or it's just an over-dramatic game show that is incredibly slow with fake-out and commercial break teasers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnsvxKgGcvI And finally, a preview for GSN's take on the UK game show "Divided" remember Divided?
