I don't think that is out of line with motorhome fuel economy. My grandparent's 84 coachman with a Ford 460 gets 5-7 mpg depending on wind direction. He has a bumper sticker that says "It may be lousy mileage for a car but it's great for a house!" I doubt any full size motorhomes are getting over 10 mpg unless you look at new ones.
