Real liberty is economic security and body autonomy. This is not antithetical to American Nationalism (which has libertarian/anarchist characteristics) and Socialism.

Here's a good read about the divide between Social and Lifestyle Anarchism - https://libcom.org/library/social-anarchism--lifestyle-anarchism-murray-bookchin

I would argue that the latter form of anarchism is common since Reagan - with someone like Carly Fiorina as the peak individual in such an order.

So has Rand (or any other Constitutional Originalist) begun advocating a property requirement for voting? It's what the Founding Fathers intended after all.

Are progressivism and humanism even ideologies so much as collections of values that we believe are good? What would 'extreme humanism' even constitute?

Rand Paul seems like a decent guy, I think he just had his head hosed up by his crazy dad's libertarianism

I'd chill and have a beer with him, and I'd probably prefer him over the other Republicans tbh because not even a Republican congress would let him get rid of medicare and public schools, right?

He was on the Daily Show, abandoning the regular debate- wearing his loving doofus jeans + formal top. Either be casual or be formal you can't do both at once, what the gently caress.

Rand would probably score a few more ironic votes if he started wearing a denim Rowsdower jacket

Paul said he wouldn't endorse before the NH primary, but I'm really curious who he endorses. He did come in ahead of Jeb! in Iowa. If he Cruz and Trump sniping continues will he be angling for VP?

it could just be an april fool's joke and he does something pointless but whatever
