Relevant sort of to paychat: was looking into getting a new (very old, very used) car (dogvehicle) yesterday. Can afford the car but I sure as poo poo can't afford the 2k/yr insurance

Is that including getting a black box?
I didn't want one but it reduced the insurance on my 107 from 1.8K to 1.4K straight away and it has halved every year since then.

Hey when you're rocking 998cc of raw Japanese power blazing from 0-60 in just 13.7s you are going have to pay out on insurance.

Yeah you are right it is insane how much young drivers are charged.
It was my first car when I was 22 and that was the cheapest on all the various comparison websites.

You realise that everyone who drives these is a bad driver, right? It now makes sense why you're getting shafted on insurance.

At least once a day I come across a 107 driver driving like a oval office.

Cov drivers are pretty terrible all round which is why I use a dashcam

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69flEwKTCHI For example.

Do you run a helmet cam when cycling?
