Good thing with running is there's no reason to splash out on posh gear. I have one make and model of shoe which i stick to and replace every 3 months which is usually about 50 for a pair from last years range, one pair of trail shoes and a few sets of cheap tech leggings/shorts, an old garmin watch with a self repaired strap and a 5 handle bottle and that's about it.

I'm gonna go against the grain jose and say DON'T run if you have pain that is more than generic stiffness/muscle ache. Running through pain is what turns minor niggles into persistent issues. Coincidentally I'm not running today either, first rest* day in a couple weeks but I've got a persistent groin strain and just general muscle fatigue and i need a gentle day

*well...still doing an 8 mile round trip to get into my workspace and back, but walking doesn't count, right?

Never used that but i use the Tesco-Sainsburys-Asda own brand (all made in the same factory i think) on mine. Melts really well, gets a good caramelization, good flavour and lots of different varieties.

Also just had the tesco chilled plant chef burger, can recommend. Nice and fatty, grills well, really dense, decent flavour, pea based for those trying to eat less soy.

If theres no red sauce it's cheese on toast, or a rarebit if you use bechemel. Pizza needs a red sauce

Tbh probably the best way to promote diet and exercise would be FREE professionally lead group based meetings (in person or online) with education, goal setting and some degree of accountability. Like bullshit-free weight watchers/slimming world but chaired by a dietician or sports psychologist specialising in community initiatives.

Obviously short term that's not gonna be possible, but i wonder if they could do something with semi-qualified volunteers, I'd suggest people who have successfully lost weight themselves and kept it off for x years, with a short training course so they don't end up giving bad advice or encouraging eating disorders.
