Perhaps Nao could explain why cocaine was the line Yu couldn't cross but threatening to kill people, starting gang wars with his powers and literally stabbing several people were just fine.

I find the show frustrating because I would have liked it quite a bit if the story has basically any time to develop. There was a shitload of mood whiplash in the last 6 episodes or so.

Did we ever even figure out why those chicks were beating the poo poo out of Nao at school? Nao was like the only good character anyways. Good on her for only agreeing to go out with Yuu if he accomplished a task that, by all rights should be completely loving impossible given he got owned by a 12 year old with a knife in the last episode. That's the most Nao way possible to reject some idiot that's hot for you based on poo poo you did in an entirely different timeline you have no loving way of knowing about.

The bigger problem than the pacing was how loving absurd the last episode's main plot is: he literally went across the world and erased every single power with zero support while simultaneously being batshit insane. What in the actual gently caress? It would have been significantly more satisfying if the last episode skimmed over the actual poo poo he was doing and had way more stuff where they solidified the relationship between Nao and Yuu. Really. If they needed to show Yuu losing it, that needed an episode plus another episode with him recovering his life afterwards.
