Asii reaching p quick

You know this was my initial reaction as well but in thinking about it more I'm pausing now, because what does she have to gain as scum by doing this?

If her being scum did make them lose the fight, then it's unnecessarily painting a target on herself.

If her being scum didn't contribute to that, then it's also unnecessarily painting a target on the three of them, with herself as scum included.

What's more interesting to me is that you floated this idea but didn't seem to think about it at all like I just did. Part of the reason I was suspicious of it was because the two potato av's in a row made it look like she posted four times about it but it was actually you...and you would know that since you were involved in the exchange, so you wouldn't have that outside observer "why is Asiina freaking out over this" kneejerk like I did.

What gives, Taste?

If they aren't involved it could make sense to crash it if they think the prize to town will be considerable, but for the first challenge of the game that seems unlikely unless they think they could drive suspicion onto someone and direct the lynch that way. Note that's not meant as an accusation of you

I don't get this post. So far everyone involved has said they didn't get any input regarding how that went down, but you seem to be implying here that scum would know they would get to submit if it succeeded or not, as evidenced by the fact that you were saying a scum would know it was a risk going into it. That's...kinda of a weird jump to make if you, as town, didn't really know what the hell was going on.

I mean Asiina's response reads far more genuine in that regard. Why are you so certain that scum would know how their involvement would make the event play out?

So nothing there either about Avalon/Resistance mechanics. Next, why TT is confusing the gently caress out of me

Taste here first mentions that he is certain what happened wasn't influenced by scum saboteurs. This is weird to me, because all the information we have been given in thread by CPig, Mithross, Asiina, and TT himself before this stated they got zero information about the mechanics of that event. But TT is certain here that it wasn't a sabotage mechanic. That is very strange.

I already questioned him on this but I really dislike this post because it's setup spec on a theory he has already completely dismissed. If TT is so certain there is no sabotage happening why spend all these words discussing the possibility of it and what scum would do with it if it existed? That's incredibly weird.

What? Where did this come from? What, in thread, and in the innocuous PM responses that Asiina told us said nothing and TT corroborated is what he received, leads us to believe that scum knew how the event was going to work? To me it's just as likely it was a small RNG failure that they happened to hit but TT is first CERTAIN it's not a sabotage mechanic, then CERTAIN the scum know how it works. What? What? How? If I came in and posted "There could have been scum on that mission, but I don't BELIEVE there were any scum" and had absolutely no proof regarding either side of it but speculated heavily on the potential existence of scum and their potential involvement in the mission people would get hardcore on my case about distracting and whitenoising. Except that this isn't true:

This is before Opop chimes in, and once again, you present what happened as if you KNOW the mechanics of the event ("It's not like Avalon," how would you know how it worked from the information you received?)

I'm not hijacking the thread because of your phrasing of mechanics. Some of what you have explained is true, I can definitely see as I'm rereading over and over again how there are many times you are consistent in your claim that you were framing everything in two separate hypotheses. I have a problem with:

-The ways in which you have made subtle inferences about understanding far more about the mechanics of the event than you reasonably should from what everyone says they received
-Your contradictions regarding what you were saying
-The subtle discrediting of my argument that is not grounded in backed up facts
