I wish I could stay up to see the result but I have to go to bed. Good game to everyone, unless we hit a bystander and the blue team also manages to hit one. In that case I think everyone wins regardless of the result.

If something bad happened, it was a pleasure engaging in a mutually assured destruction-esque game of chicken and stuff with you Reds. I'm looking forward to buying this game, I want to try being a Spymaster

## MISSION ACCEPTED I can not stand seeing nobody here is capable of restoring motherland's good name. I need to return (eventually) and atone for my sins against the Party.

Good game reds and victorious blues, i never doubted you Anyway, so i thought the game 1 spymasters were being very slow and steady with their clues so I was trying to go big every time here. I think it worked well but my mistake was SAFARI, I was trying to tie in the remaining animal words from ORGANISM with Field, but there was too much else going on with that word. I was aware of that and since those words were bystanders i wasn't concerned, but i didn't think about the fallout on another guess. There's also the consideration that big clues wave the reds off of the blue words, but I think big clues are more fun also the thread title. Anyway, I can't wait to get this game. Also drat this is an easy game to PBP, with three people being able to update game runs pretty fast! Fellis fucked around with this message at 12:10 on Aug 19, 2015 |

Yeah I once again marvel at Vlaada's genius, this is the standout game of the year for me I think! Do we need to apply again, or will you just choose from people who have joined? I know ExtrudeAlongCurve still very much wants to play.

Well, for as terrible as I thought that went, we managed to finish up with one clue left. So... thanks, guys, for actually doing pretty well despite my terrible clues! So, here's what I was thinking of for each of my clues. PHANTOM 2: It was France all along. I don't know anything about planes. ALARM 2: This one was, of all things, Pound. As in, "Pound the Alarm." It's a song. ...No? Darnit. TREASURE 2: The other one was Giant. Remember the Giant from Jack and the Beanstalk? Jack stole all his treasure. And you got the rest exactly as I intended. Oh, and the assassin was "Round." So when you were considering it for ALARM, I was sweatin' bullets over here. EDIT: If I get to play in another round sometime... don't let me be the codemaster again. ActingPower fucked around with this message at 12:51 on Aug 19, 2015 |

Yeah, until you try it once, it's hard to know the challenges of putting together clues that don't link up to anything else on the board. I don't know about other people, but it comes very naturally to me to group up words that have some sort of link, despite them being ones I want to stay away from. ##MISSION ACCEPTED, get me in for whatever's good.

One of my iconic "gently caress we have a disconnect here" was when my spymaster clued GARDEN and I immediately went "OCTOPUS duh!!! The Beatles song!!! " It was the other team's and my spymaster looked at me like "what the poo poo." Basically I love this game so drat much.

My favourite so far was the clue Soldiers 3 with both Private and Pilot on the table, neither of which were correct.

Was the second game completely random words again, or were they taken from the actual game? I think there's something to be said for the selection in the box and a lot of the crossover in terms it has, versus a total random list.

Okay at first I was thinking Doctor... Soldier... Undertaker... But then I noticed Lead and Part which probably makes more sense? Not feeling a strong I MUST GUESS THIS though so someone else got some input?

I was feeling Lead as well. Wasn't feeling Part, even though it's on the same wavelength, though, I guess it'd make sense.

I agree, at first I was looking at jobs (solider, doctor, etc) but lead and part make too much sense, and it's the correct number of guesses provided.
