Hello Auspol goons! This thread is the chat thread for a game of Neptune's Pride 2 which will start soon, probably Monday 31 August.

Neptune's Pride 2 is in a very very simple turn based strategy game. The game website is here: http://np.ironhelmet.com/ Here is a video that explains the basics.

Despite what the video says, we will be playing this game in turn based mode. This means that there will be no advantage to logging in several times a day to modify your orders in response to changing circumstances. Instead, you should log in once every 24 hours and play your turn. This means the game should not be too much of a drain on ~productivity~.

So I've been reading the tutorial page http://triton.ironhelmet.com/#help_index because i've not played since they revamped and that was nearly two years ago.

TOML: Are we doing a 24 deadline (so game advances every 24 hours if you submit a turn or not?) and 24 hour production (so once every 24 hours we get paid?)

i'm not sure whether to go with 24 hour deadline or 48 hour deadline, i'm sure we'd rarely go past 24 hours but if someone has a difficult weekend i don't want them to be dudded

i think every turn should advance the game by 12 hours (other options are 6, 8, and 24)
