Sakurazuka posted:Also it's gonna be weird if the anime gets a more literal translation and the original names and stuff. The live-action movie's official subtitles are completely Phoenixed, so I wouldnt be concerned. Capcom's at least aware enough to stay on top of that. Localizing it as anything BUT Phoenix Wright would conflict with their branding and merchandising.

It takes real talent to take a simple response like "This show is clearly gonna be all kinds of creepy" and twist it into something that no-one wants to touch.

Half the fun of the show is Hiroshi Kamiya having a blast as Yato. For what its worth, its available subbed and dubbed on AnimeLab.

I would say the first episode is worth watching for the OP alone, even if you were not a fan of the anime. Maybe especially if you were not a fan. What's the point of it anyway? Just to milk the old cash cow and pass time until there's enough manga progress to work from again?

Iron-Blooded Flags was fantastic. I liked that getting the Gundam going was their plan all along for once rather than having the protagonist just fall into the cockpit.

This is what Japanese companies have been doing since the 90's with licensed anime (it's why there were so many bad OVA's, companies wouldn't let the good stuff in their catalogue be dubbed unless they unloaded some crap as well), and as they're hacking a fresh dub away, around it all goes anew .
