And it's still half portuguese/half english, I should set on a language at some time...

Yeah not really sure why you chose a mix of two languages. It's confusing for everyone.

My office is in the front room of a run-down 12 megapixel sensor but the rent suits me and the landlord doesn't ask many questions.

I like horizontal scrolling because it integrates portrait and landscape orientation images better imho

Typically we take in photos in print/gallery formats horizontal so I prefer horizontal online too

I too prefer the visual experience of horizontal scrolling. Vertical works much better for words, horizontal for photos.

I like horizontal.

I hate it when it doesn't work with the scroll wheel. Which more often than not is the case.

Very strong. Everyone likes me.
I think I associate vertical too closely with Tumblr now.

I tried having everything but the series names (which I think should stick to the originals? I'm open to suggestions) on both languages now. Is it too confusing? I'm dealing mostly with people in Brazil and I know English can be a barrier here. Should I just stick with portuguese since my international viewers are probably just whatever of you guys end up wandering there?

I'd say either title your works in both languages or put a translation in parentheses somewhere.

Overall I like it, but FYI, this appears over "prev/next" on your picture of the guy with the nose piercing:

I need a easy drop-in-to-a-folder photo gallery for my personal website. It must be able to let me sort in to groups for about a hundred or so photographs.

If it could read subfolders on the server that would be easiest, but I'm willing to spend a half a day doing setup if necessary. Must be free. Anyone know a good one?

Montmartre -> Portland
don't think I've posted since I updated mine:

http://www.justin-kent.com

more recently I've added galleries for each of the shows I saw following the U2 tour last year. It's a lot of shots so I added cover pages for each to call out highlights of each of the shows.

I'm sort of having a tough time figuring out the best way to present a project with this large of scope. There are probably a half dozen or so narratives woven through the collections but they'd maybe only be very compelling to fans.

I also just launched a print site because some folks had been asking me about buying them. It will be sort of a grand experiment, no idea how many I'll actually sell but it will be a good learning experience.

I just took a long rear end time and finally updated my website. I'm trying to make it into a hybrid business/art website, but i'm not sure if it'll work out. Also i'm running into problems with galleries overlapping and going on way too long. What's a comfortable gallery number? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, i'm entirely spent just looking at the thing for now.
