Law & Order: Criminal Intent was pretty good the first few seasons. I want to say it was seasons 1-4 that were pretty good.

It started getting bad when Chris Noth joined the cast, although I think that first season with him wasn't too bad.

Then they changed showrunners and the show became real bad. The writing was awful, the visual style changed, just bad all around. Should have cancelled it, but there were still a few good episodes here and there.

Then Chris Noth left and was replaced by Jeff Goldblum. Show started getting seriously terrible. Should have been put to death immediately.

Then Vincent D'Onofrio left and it was the shittiest, lamest main character departure I can remember, no one involved in that episode seemed to even give a poo poo. By this point D'Onofrio looked like a fat hobo. Show continued for an awful, miserable season with Jeff Goldblum as the main character. Really they should have just cancelled it. I think I stopped watching here.

And then I guess someone decided that the whole departure had been a mistake, and they did one last season where D'Onofrio and his partner came back with no explanation given to how they were back (I think they'd both been fired from the police when they left the show).

You're right, although I did enjoy the Chris Noth episodes. Pretty much whenever they got rid of the courtroom part of the show is when the show began to dip in quality.

I always thought Fox shot themselves in the foot with That 70's Show by making That 80's Show. If they hadn't of made it they could have transitioned it to the 80's instead of spending like 5 years in 1979.

The most offensive episode of family guy I remember was when Peter meets a Muslim guy, gets converted to Islam and then it turns out that the guy who converted him was actually a part of Al Qaeda and was planning a terrorist attack.

The episode that made me stop watching for a while was the one where they visited ground zero and Peter was just annoyingly stupid throughout and then quotes Trains, Planes, and Automobiles when called out on it.

Most live action adult swim shows should have been canceled after their first episode, the obvious exception being Eric andre.

Mr. Pickles too.

Does anyone remember some bad sitcom where the hook was the main guy had a curse on him then the show kept going and eventually like half way through the first season the curse was cured and it was just a regular old show about a guy living in new york with no additional supernatural elements? What even was the gameplan on that one?

Apparently, it's just called Cursed. Bunk was in it. Also Chris Elliot.

But the girlfriends on BBT are like the best part of the show. I would totally watch a spinoff that's just Penny, Amy, and Bernadette.

Wow, the only one who doesn't have a girlfriend is the indian one?

Probably right around the time they (spoilering just in case) loving made Juliet into a Hexenbiest and then made her go Barbara Keen-level psycho, forcing Nick to kill her.

Could you put that to a season? Like the season number it happened.
