So instead of actually producing movies they just made four episodes that were loosely related. They also said that when they were going to air they would have additional content added to make them more like mini-episodes. Instead now they just air them in a 2 hour block without any extras.

And Turk is good, so... not sure how that got messed up. No, because the previous season has just gone back to the earlier style that made the show good so JD was way down from the cartoon he had become.
