In competitive games getting an event like blitz or rain is usually game deciding. So those parts are too random, yea.

GW were hardly playing hardball, and it never went to court. They said "You can't use these things in this way" and FUMBLL changed a chunk of stuff to comply. I don't think GW were being dicks in this case beyond the level of dick you are basically legally required to be to keep your IP your IP.
