Any really good vampire game should be about classy vamps popping off bon mots on each other while relaxing in an exclusive club. This isn't going to happen.

But the management at CCP is apparently so pants on head retarded that they sabotaged any effort to get a product out. There was a really good article explaining just how hosed the process was somewhere online. At least this game has an actual product they appear to be developing so far. That puts it ahead of most kickstarters (Go look at the That Which Sleeps thread.) by default.

An indie MMO sounds awful to me, but I was so disappointed when CCP cancelled WoD that I can't help but hope this might be decent.
