I bought VHS for like 2 tapes of the Future Trunks arc, and then bought from the beginning of Great Saiyaman to around Majin Vegeta. Can't believe anime cost that much for so little. loving stupid.

I remember the first time I bought a funimation dvd, I think Fruits basket?, and it had 6 episodes for 30 bucks, which was considered a miracle at the time. Then they started selling 26 episode seasons for 50-60 bucks, and then everyone else started following suite.

Unless the next few episodes are mostly Taka/Lani centric and Kaiser quit all life, I very much doubt that. His editing process has to be streamlined heavily to combine that with the downtime of waiting for lines.

Everytime people bring up hercules strength for db, they forget how mamy gimmicks went on those tournaments. Like most of the long range stuff like energy attacks, speed, and psychic stuff would knock him out of the ring ala chi chi.

I listened to a podcast that had a former employee of Funimation and they were apparently not allowed to mention any notice of Dragonball Super. Like it never exists (this was a few months ago). Definitely some weird thing if lower-level editors were banned from acknowledging it.

The reason why the Resident Evil 1 dub is so infamously bad is because the voice actors did their usual takes that actually sounded like humans, but the voice editors were japanese people that didn't speak english, so they picked and cut lines based on what they sounded was right.
