I actually streamed Freedom Planet with the dev and the voice actors, and they are most certainly enthusiastic! But to be totally fair, they're real deal VAs with resumes who do it full time with good equipment, etc. It's not Newgrounds quality (although Edwyn Tiong is there, funnily enough) but it's not Cam Clarke, either. I would recommend goons skipping the story, it's pretty marshmallow.
