Welcome to Emoji Mafia, an F11 mafia game for new players.

This will be a newbie friendly game and new people will have priority for signups over those of us who play too much!

The setup is F11, which means that it the game will have one of the following distributions of roles chosen at random:

1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 1 Sane Cop, 1 Doctor, 5 Townies.
1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 7 Townies.
2 Mafia Goons, 1 Sane Cop, 6 Townies.
2 Mafia Goons, 1 Doctor, 6 Townies.

If you are completely new to mafia, there are a few places to get you started. You can check out the OP of the Discussion thread or the mafia wiki. If you have any questions feel free to PM me or you can reach me as asiina on any number of platforms (gmail, steam, skype, AIM, etc).

Standard Rules

Days will be approximately 48 hours, Nights will be 24 hours.
To vote for someone type ##vote player with bold tags. If you want to remove your vote but not vote for anyone else type ##unvote in bold. If you want to change your vote to someone else, just ##vote different player, no need to unvote.
Hangings will be majority (days can end in a no hang)
Thread will be closed at night
No fake day actions
No posting after hammer
No posting mod PMs
No editing posts
No outside communication unless your role says you're allowed
Try to be active, it makes the game more fun.
Once the game starts I won't answer any questions in thread. PM me if you have questions.

Sample win conditions

Town: You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

Scum: You win when you control the vote.

To sign up, just post in the thread and optionally choose one of the emoji from the picture. Any unchosen emoji will be randomly assigned when the game is full.
