Lets you run in a window without Toad King's hack, adds a lot of convenient things from RCT1 that weren't in RCT2 for some reason (like being able to access the finances tab straight from the top menu), lets you use the mountain tool outside of create-a-scenario, lets you adjust larger amounts of water/land at a time, has a cheat menu if that's your thing, has Twitch integration if that's also your thing, and amazingly has rudimentary multiplayer. It's the definitive way to play RCT2.
