I'm really hoping they don't go turbo-drama over the completely understandable lying. It ruined Arrow and I can't stand anymore of it.

With anyone that's a zombie in this show you have to cut them slack on how they act based on the brain they're on. Just like Liv got slack when she was on crazy stripper brain Major should get slack when on hardened mercenary brain. He was acting more on revenge/ self preservation than on malice towards Rita. You also have to keep in mind that Rita was one of the people holding the metaphorical gun to Liv's head.

On a rewatch you can see tons of little jokes or foreshadowing. It's great.

To be honest that's probably one of the most realistic parts of the show. People are stupid and panicky. They see bad poo poo about someone once and that's what sticks. Doesn't matter if they're acquitted or tried and found innocent.

So I did a quick search because I didn't know what her natural accent was. I had no idea she was from New Zealand. Found the clip of her on Jimmy Kimmel and holy poo poo, I didn't recognize her voice at all.

The first couple seasons of Misfits are fantastic. It gets iffy when they do a cast shakeup. I stopped watching after that, but other people report it gets good again.
