Russian Д is also basically delta, and in cursive it's often written the same way as Latin D, which is the case with Y and У.

Y is totally fine, print capital upsilon looks identical to the English Y in most fonts. Ё, on the other hand, is taking the piss. Might as well include all the other letters with various diacritics then.
