I only have one spider in my classroom right now (that I know of). It's a tarantula. In the past I've also had black widows. Very popular with the students. They are fascinated by all my creepy-crawlies. My current inventory of invertebrates is as follows: 1. One Pink-Toed Tarantula 2. Several Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches 3. Dozens of Mealworms and Mealworm beetles 4. 2-3 dozen Giant Cave Cockroaches 5. 6 various species of Mantid 6. Hundreds, if not thousands of Lobster Cockroaches.

Hi, I think Reginald ate a spider. A very small amount of research indicates that perhaps Reginald is a female who ate her mate? It doesn't sound like they generally just eat other spiders for fun. Although I have never seen another spider around there? All I know is Reginald is just hanging out right now next to a set of spider legs. No body. Just legs. I was originally just joking about Reginald murdering me, but...

Does anyone here know anything about spiders? Because now that I look closer, Reginald's legs look very white colored and spiders do molt, so I'm wondering if that crazy son of a bitch shed his old legs and now he's rocking new legs? Is that possible? edit: yes, this had to be what happened. His legs look almost black in the old pictures. They are now almost white and the left behind legs are black. edit2: meaning Reginald is still Reginald and not an evil spider killer.

Reginald is still just hanging around. I have to leave soon for a short work trip, but I should be back tomorrow night. If I never post again it is safe to assume that Reginald took over while I was gone and killed me upon my return.

i had a spider that i allowed to live in my bathroom all summer. every time i took a shower she'd come down from her web to drink from the splatter on the shower walls and look at my dick but she left a couple of days ago
