 I currently have an Athon X2 around 2ghz in an HTPC-ish case that I use for playing HD movies on a 47" 3D HDTV. It's big, it's kinda clunky, and I'd like to replace it with something that's appliance-like: small and purpose-built for playing HD movies, and easy enough that a mom could use it, then plug in a hard drive full of movies. 4K and H.265 playback seems like it would be nice and future-proof I imagine.

Things I've seen on Amazon:

Popcorn Hour VTEN 4Kx2K - $185 (Apparently has bad reviews)

Any suggestions?
