Namtab posted:What's everyone's fave gundam (show) and gundam (big robot) Unicorn is my favourite OVA (the animation quality is ridiculously good, the music is ridiculously good, it has a ton of continuity/gear porn for UC fans, the leads are pretty likeable for kids, the show is mostly low-key political conflict/tactical skirmishing between two ships playing cat and mouse), Turn-A is my favourite 4-cours show (it has the best pacing and the best character development of any Gundam show, as well as being stupidly gorgeous and just generally good), IBO might end up my overall favourite show if it stays good (it's really good). Gundams are garbage (the V-fin, mempo and chinbeard are bad) but the Turn-A sort of grows on you like a cancer (it has a moustache), the V2 is pretty rad and the AGE-1 Spallow is non-terrible. My favourite mobile suit design is the Gerbera Tetra (it's one of the best-looking Zeon suits), but the RGM-79D Cold Climate GM is probably my second favourite (it's essentially the quintessential generation 1.5 GM I). I find turn a's tone and message really resonates with me, and i think the story is top notch. I like the V2 because depending on how you outfit it it can be sleek and simple like a sports car, or huge and greebly like a fortress.

My reasons for liking Fenice are basically similar to yours for liking Wing though. Only Fenice is a broken down Wing with a cool laser cloak and a motorcycle! Build Fighters is my pick because it was a very fun show and actually got me to buy toys like it was supposed to.
