 The all-pig-women crew of the space ship Carmen is traveling through the deepest reaches of the cosmos when suddenly they receive a call from their enigmatic leader: The Voice. "Greetings, friends." "Hail to you, Voice! May you guide us for a thousand years," says the ship's captain, the headstrong Arin Brice. Her first mate oinks in agreement. "Save the pleasantries. As you know, we have been at war with the chicken-men of Cluckulon for over a dozen years, and many on both sides have died." The pigs all nod, since they did all already know it, but they understand that The Voice just likes to speak her thoughts as they come to her. "And as you also know," she continues, "I regularly receive precognitions about their Poultry movements and activities, though rarely are they so clear as to be very helpful. My latest vision however, is most diresome. It appears, if my dream is correct, that after your last mission saving the Terran Amish from planet Gamma Deutche, your ship has been secretly infiltrated by Chicken Spies. They are pretending to be loyal members of the crew, but secretly are plotting to destroy you!" The crew gasps. Surely The Voice is just mistaken, right? Surely she just had a nightmare and not a precognition? But suddenly the lights on the bridge turn off. From the darkness they hear and see three laser blasts, though nobody could tell from where they came. When power was restored, the pigs of the good ship Carmen could see their fears are confirmed. The captain is dead. The viewfinder on the bridge is destroyed (separating their link with The Voice). And next to the captain was a pig... no... it was... a chicken in a pig suit.  Welcome to this game of mafia! This is a fast game with tight deadlines. I only need 9 players. Day 1 will be 3 days long, and they will only get shorter. Nights will be 12 hours at most. If you do not submit an action by the end of the night I will RNG it. Votes will be by plurality. I will make no replacements. If you disappear you will be modkilled. Votebot will count your votes this game so feel free to toss everything you ever knew about ##unvoting. The standard rules apply. If you are a new player don't play this game it's not a good game. ugh its avatar actually says lynch, how very distasteful. whatever. everything is awful this is not news to anyone but me. yeah if I could redo it I'd make one of the vanillas a godfather, too. as it stands the setup was leaned against the mafia a little (though if foo had protected himself last night the game would have continued, and had foo ever claimed it'd likely have been a smooth path to victory)
