Start anywhere you like (maybe not the 80's). Low and Heroes are probably the safest bets, but there's something great on almost every album.

With Bowie, you can start anywhere. Pick an album at random. If its named "Tonight" or "Never Let Me Down", pick again.

Seconded, do it. I started following the blog when he was covering Bowie's undisputed two worst albums, and it was still a great experience.
